Our approach to academic instruction channels the spirit of the student section. We champion each of our students through opportunity and compassion. It’s an academic culture that celebrates the possibility within each student by encouraging them to explore the strike of inspiration but also recognizes the importance of reinforcing that possibility with practical learning opportunities.

Alburnett is uniquely exceptional and our small town is a sandbox for entrepreneurial minds. The cozier confines and smaller student body beget a philosophy that can evolve and embrace, rather than demand conformity. We don’t settle for standardized instruction. Unlike larger school systems that must economize curriculum for thousands of students, Alburnett is able to deftly accommodate the particular passions of every individual.
We influence while other schools enforce. Our teachers engage their students one-on-one and are able to empower those students through technology integration, Advanced Placement and Concurrent Enrollment courses for college credit, and K-12 Project Lead The Way. It’s a teacher-student dynamic that’s defined by mutual inspiration. Growth is the ultimate ambition.
